How to Increase Your Chances of Winning the Lottery (Without Spending More Money on Tickets)
Who else is looking to increase their chances of winning the lottery? If you are like I used to be when I first got started investigating different lottery winning tips, techniques and strategies, you are probably finding your money at stake as well. Because I was determined to win, I used my AA (best available) and my vacations (lots of them to choose from) as chips to play with in any lottery I played.
You probably know how this story ends. After years of playing, I developed a rare blood disease that would slowly steal my eyesight over the weekend, and when it happened, I couldn’t wait to spend my money on the lottery. On this particular occasion, though, I thought better of it and saved my money for a nice vacation, leaving me with enough to play the remainder of the lottery I’d won.
If you’re like me, you probably have a lot more free time than a lot of people, and maybe you’re in the mood to win some money this weekend. Even if you don’t win, you can still enjoy yourself at the casino (or your city festivals or whatever) and have a much better time than you would have spent with your resultant funds. If, however, you’re in the mood to win the lottery this weekend, but you don’t want to spend more money than you have to, there are steps you can take that will leave you with enough money to spend more on the lottery the next time you play.
First of all, you should work on a budget. Don’t play with money you need to pay your mortgage, bills, or your groceries. Only play with extra money that you will not need to spend on other things. If you don’t have a specific budget, set aside a certain amount of money and stick to that. For example, if your budget for lotto tickets is $20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 $30,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $60,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $120,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $60,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $120,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $60,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $120,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $60,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, $120,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,difference -1.67%. So, in the next drawing, your tickets would have different odds of winning. That’s a big difference between the 1-in-175,711,536 and 1-in-30,omaha, which would seem to be an obvious advantage for the underdog. But the big surprise is that such a simple rule-of-thumb doesn’t seem to apply to all lotteries!
For example, the most popular lottery in the world is the Euromillions draw, in which odd and even numbers are distribute evenly across the tickets. How do you expect that to happen?
