SEEDS Joins fight against Coronavirus, activates action Serving the most vulnerable and invisible

SEEDS is reaching out to economically vulnerable people in partnership with Government of India and state governments of Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Telangana and West Bengal in India. We are actively working in in close coordination with Governments to respond to the physical health, mental health and economic impacts of the pandemic. SEEDS is committed in reaching out and supporting these invisible individuals – the elderly, children, and frontline health workers of the communities who are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the economic consequences of the outbreak in their time of need. Together, we will overcome this pandemic by making sure the most vulnerable among us are protected.

SEEDS Response to COVID-19 focuses on immediate needs in the following areas:

  1. Financial and essential services support to the daily wage earners
  2. Support to district administration for complementing and supplementing public health systems
  3. Supply of hygiene kits and food rations to marginalised families, old age homes and orphanages
  4. Support to Government for establishment of temporary quarantine facilities, where needed

Rs. 1500: Family hygiene kit for a month supply

Hygiene kit for a family with a month’s supply consisting of with soap bar, liquid soap, detergent, utensil washing soap, sanitary pads, disinfectant liquid and towel.
